31 Days of Tarot- Do I Have Personal Use Only Decks?

When it comes to decks, I’m definitely someone who uses them as I feel they want to be used. While today isn’t the day to talk about how I think tarot works, a quick version that’ll help explain my way of using decks is ‘all things have energy’. There are decks I own that I primarily use to read for myself. Mostly, when I’m reading for others it’s for people I know and thus I tend to choose decks based on how they react to imagery and messages. For example, I rarely read for friends using my Starchild Tarot because I see that deck as being bonded with me, and none of my friends are lightworker types. Sometimes I do when I’m trying to practice with the deck, but usually I’ll choose the Sasuraibito, which has an art style I find everyone reacts to well, or Slow Holler, since we’re a group of annoying lesbians + one bigender person. Generally, I just select decks based on how I intuitively feel about them for the reading, and some of my decks are open to reading for people other than me less.
