Sooo... confession time: I barely read anything in 2017. It’s not that I didn’t want to so much as it is that I’m terrible with time management! Reading means setting aside time to do so, and between work and wanting to do nothing but do makeup and listen to podcasts, I ended up not reading anything. I’m hoping to change that this year and get lots of reading under my belt! So, instead of a books I’ve read list, here’s a list of books I’m planning to read. Modern Tarot by Michelle Tea Ok, I can’t lie it’s partially the cover that makes me want this but it’s so cute! How can you blame me for that?? I’ve heard a lot of good things about this book, and as a reader with a more modern, intuitive take on the tarot I’m interested to see how she’s written this. Book of Tarot by Danielle Noel As I mentioned in my top five decks of 2017, I love the Starchild Tarot. The book is also great- I especially love Danielle’s interpretations of the pentacle suit (or crystals in that deck). This book is obviously on my list! I’m hoping to get the UK edition since I’m a hardcover snob, but we’ll see. WTF is Tarot? by Bakara Wintner Listen, I like my spirituality with a side of irreverence. Taking yourself too seriously is what creates vegans who compare eating meat to the holocaust and evangelical Christians. Thus, a book with WTF in the title with an ultra modern approach is just my cup of tea. Aaaand that’s all folks! Okay, probably not. I have a long list of witchy books I’ll be reading. I’m currently reading the updated edition of Witches, Midwives, & Nurses and have a few other books planned out! I’m pretty picky with spiritual books, but I do have a few I may post reviews on in the upcoming months...
